Hetkel sirutab ta varbaid Miami rannaliivas, aga siiski leidis aega, et k\u00fclastada sealset v\u00e4ikest drifti\u00fcritust, teha seal m\u00f5ned pildid ja paari s\u00f5naga kokku v\u00f5tta, mis toimus:<\/p>\n<p>Formula Drift 2012 \u2013 Round 2<br \/>\nROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP &#8211;  ATLANTA ROAD \u2013 BRASELTON, GA.<\/p>\n<p>Mina kui suur driftif\u00e4nn ja austaja l\u00e4ksin suurt Ameerikat avastama ja sellega seoses avanes mul v\u00f5imalus k\u00fclastada maailmatasemel Formula Drift (edasp. FD). Toimub juba \u00fcheksandat aastat j\u00e4rjest ja on P\u00f5hja-Ameerika Pro drifi meistriv\u00f5istlus. Sinna j\u00f5udmiseks ootas mind ees 680 miili ja 12h s\u00f5itu, autoks Buick Enclave. Autot parem ei kommenteeri! Atlanta Road here I come!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Tegemist oli siis kahep\u00e4evase \u00fcritusega, mis sisaldas  GTA, Pro\/Am ja FD v\u00f5istlust. M\u00f5lemad p\u00e4evad algasid juba v\u00e4ga varakult ja l\u00f5ppesid \u00f5htupimeduses. Atlanta Road on teada tuntud kui maailmatasemel rada, aga just FD jaoks tehti \u00fcks rajal\u00f5ik juurde juba 9 aastat tagasi, mida nimetatakse hobuserauaks. Mehed on siiani v\u00e4ga t\u00e4nulikud. Just sellel rajal toimus 2004 aastal esimene FD \u00fcritus. Uus rajal\u00f5ik tasus ennast \u00e4ra, kuna t\u00e4na on driftimine kogunud juba niipalju populaarsust, et f\u00e4nne ja pealtvaatjaid on igast eluvaldkonnast ja isegi majanduslangus ei ole drifti arengut takistanud. Rada oli kurviline laskude ja t\u00f5usudega, mis tegi selle huvitavaks ja ka raskemaks. Kiirendamine algas m\u00e4est alla laskumisega ja esimesse clipping pointi j\u00f5uti umbes 100km\/h kiirusega. Seej\u00e4rel tuli veel \u00fcks kurv ja j\u00e4rgmisesse clipping pointi pidi sisenema juba v\u00e4hemalt 56-57km\/h kiirusega. Hobuseraua kurvis toimus tagasip\u00f6\u00f6re. V\u00e4ga hea lahendus oli clipping pointide v\u00f5tmiseks, seal olid spetsiaalsed postid p\u00fcsti, mis n\u00e4itasid t\u00e4pselt \u00e4ra, kui l\u00e4hedalt nurka v\u00f5eti ehk siis l\u00e4ks p\u00f5lema ledide riba! <\/p>\n<p>Drift ise nagu arvata v\u00f5is oli v\u00e4ga suure mastaabiga ja kaugel sellest, mis meil Eestis on. S\u00f5itjaid oli palju ja tasemel t\u00f6\u00f6 korraldustiimi poolt. Rahvusvahelised s\u00f5itjad ja v\u00e4ga kirju pealtvaatajaskond. See kuidas tiimid olid kohal suurte rekkadega, millest drifti autod v\u00e4lja aeti, uute rehvide hunnikud, sponsorite promo  ja autopark ise oli muljet avaldav. K\u00f5ik toimis! Kui toimus mingi \u00f5nnetus oli kohe teisaldusauto rajal, traktor puhastamas rada ja m\u00f5ne minutiga v\u00f5istlus j\u00e4tkus. Kui tekkis isegi veidi pikem paus, sai ekraanilt vaadata kordus\u00f5ite, peakommentaator tegi intervjuusid teiste s\u00f5itjatega! Naljakas vaatepilt oli see, et boksid jagasid l\u00e4bi s\u00f5idetud vanu rehve ja v\u00e4ga paljud inimesed k\u00f5ndisid ringi rasked rehvid kukil. No mida sa teed selle rehviga tekkis minul k\u00fcsimus?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A15.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Daijiro Yoshihara<\/strong>, eelmise aasta v\u00f5itja, autoks 1993 aasta Nissan 240sx. Sellel aastal on mees veel v\u00e4hekene vist roostes, sest peale teist etappi hoiab 7. kohta. Tegi k\u00fcll head s\u00f5itu, aga 16 parema sekka edasi ei saanud.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Justin Pawlak<\/strong>, kes eelmisel aastal j\u00e4i teiseks on mees, kes alustas t\u00e4navust hooaega 2013 aasta Ford Mustang RTR, millel hobuseid 845. Finaalis k\u00e4is v\u00f5itlus Pawlaki ja Fredric Aasbo vahel. Kui Aasbo ei oleks eksinud esimeses clipping pointis, oleks arvatavasti osutunud v\u00f5itjaks just Aasbo. Seekord v\u00f5ttis, aga Pawlak sel hooajal juba teise v\u00f5idu ja hoiab \u00fcldliidri kohta.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A5.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fredric Aasbo<\/strong>. Tema on see mees, kes on proovinud s\u00f5ita meie oma Taavi Toomara ( Tomzi) drifti autoga Norra v\u00f5istlustel. Kuna Aasbo ikkagi n\u00f6. meie kandi mees, siis pidin temaga isiklikult ka tuttavaks saama. \u00dclimuhe tegelane ja kohe kindlasti \u00fcks \u201cmunadega\u201d meestest .Enamv\u00e4hem nagu meie Tomz ja \u201cS\u00f5ge\u201d Puhmas kokku panna! Ta oli 2010 aastal FD \u201cRookie of the year\u201d. S\u00f5idab 2012 Scion Tc-ga. Mees ise r\u00e4\u00e4kis, et auto on hea, v\u00f5imsust kuskil 600hp kanti. Saaks isegi rohkem juurde keerata, aga siis muutub auto kontrollimatuks. Mees n\u00e4itas v\u00e4ga stabiilset s\u00f5itu ja oleks v\u00e4\u00e4rinud igati v\u00f5itu. Atlantas j\u00e4i teiseks ja \u00fcldarvestuses on peale teist etappi kolmandal kohal.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A6.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Daigo Saito<\/strong>. T\u00f5eliselt hull mees j\u00e4llegi, kes oli eelmisel aastal Jaapanis teisel kohal ja sellel aastal, siis peale esimest etappi esimesel kohal. Usa-s FD-l on tal autoks Lexus sc 430. Tema auto oli ainukene, millel tuli niipalju suitsu, et tandemites polnud teist autot seljataga \u00fcldse n\u00e4hagi. Seekord, Atlantas sai kolmanda koha. Daigo on sellel aastal FD-l nn. \u201cRookie\u201d. Kindlasti \u00fcks \u201cRookie of the year\u201d kanditaate! Kohapeal olles oli just sellel mehel seal v\u00e4ga palju p\u00f6idlahoidjaid!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A8.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chelsea DeNofa<\/strong> on samuti sellel aastal \u00fcks FD nn \u201c Rookie\u201d. Tema on teine, kellel on potensiaalne oht saada \u201c Rookie of the Year\u201d tiitli omanikuks! Autoks on BMW  E36 M3. N\u00e4itas v\u00e4ga ilusat nurka ja s\u00f5itu. Kahjuks ei saanud ta edasi 16 parema hulka, aga pole samas ka ime, kuna tema vastaseks oli ei keegi muu kui Daigo Saito. Aga potensiaali sellel mehel on k\u00fcllaga!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A9.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A10.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Essa<\/strong>, kelle autoks 2004 Z4R, M-i mootoriga. Taaskord v\u00e4ga hea s\u00f5itja, esimese p\u00e4eva kvalifikatsiooni v\u00f5itja. T\u00f5eliselt nauditav vaadata.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Autole oli selline huvitav lahendus tehtud, kui juhulikult peaks kuskile otsa s\u00f5itma. Paigaldatud peale viimast kokkup\u00f5rget, mille j\u00e4ljed veel ilusti n\u00e4ha.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A12.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rhys Millen<\/strong> on tegelenud driftimisega aegade algusest peale. 2005 aasta FD v\u00f5itja. S\u00f5idab 2013 aasta Hyundai Genesis Coupega. Huvitav on see, et nii m\u00f5nigi s\u00f5itja s\u00f5idab drifti juba 2013 aasta mudelitega.<br \/>\nMillen on paljudele s\u00f5itjatele eeskujuks, kogenud s\u00f5itja, kes n\u00e4itab v\u00e4ga head klassi. Seekord p\u00e4\u00e4ses k\u00fcll kaheksa parema hulka, kuid pidi siiski edasip\u00e4\u00e4su noorele norrakale Aasbole loovutama.<br \/>\nTeadmiseks veel, et Millen oli \u00fcks nendest meestest, keda paluti filmi Kiired ja Vihased \u2013 Tokyo Drift v\u00f5tetele nn. \u201cStunt driveriks\u201d.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A13.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaughn Gittin Jr.<\/strong> on paljudele kui drifti ikoon, sest just tema oli see mees, kes 2004 aastal, kui  esmakordselt peeti USA v. Jaapan \u201cAll Star\u201d \u00fcritus, kus Gittin selle v\u00f5itis. Tema oli esimene ameeriklane, kes v\u00f5itis rahvusvahelise v\u00f5istluse. Autoks on tal sellel aastal 2013 aasta Ford Mustang. Finaalis oli Gittini s\u00f5it visuaalselt parem kui Saitol, siiski kohtunike arvates oli parem Saito.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/petrolheads.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/FormulaD_A14.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tandemites oli k\u00f5va lahing ja piisavalt n\u00e4rvik\u00f5di, sest autod olid kui k\u00fclgepidi kokku liimitud. Enamus aega oli selline tunne, et n\u00fc\u00fcd k\u00e4ib pauk \u00e4ra, aga ometi seda ei juhtunud. Meeste oskus kontrollida autot oli lausa fantastiline vaatepilt. Kahe p\u00e4eva sisse mahtus v\u00e4ikseid ja natukene ka suuremaid rajalt v\u00e4ljas\u00f5ite, juppide k\u00fcljest \u00e4ra kukkumist ja suutlikus 5 minutiga auto taas rajale saada ning \u00fcks k\u00f5vem seinas\u00f5itmine, palju suitsu, rehvipuru ja punast liivatolmu. Maailma tipptasemel tegijad \u00fcle vaadatud ja kolmas etapp ootab mind ees juba 1-2. Juuni Palm Beach, Florida.
